Mountains cover nearly 70% of Taiwan, making this island one of the densest alpine landscapes in the world, with over 260 peaks soaring above 3,000 meters. Spanning tropical to frigid climate zones, it nurtures a breathtaking tapestry of vast grasslands, serene alpine lakes, sheer cliffs, ancient glacial remnants, and hundreds of thousands of endemic species. As the saying goes, "The world does not lack beauty; it lacks the eye to perceive it." It is this raw, untamed essence and the mystical allure of Taiwan’s highlands that drew me to mountaineering in the first place.

My philosophy on alpine photography is simple: I never chase the "perfect shot" or wait around for dramatic conditions. Instead, I embrace every passing moment on the trail, seeking the unique purity of the mountains, capturing nature’s subtle, muted tones, and conveying the raw texture of what lies before me.
