Portraits of Mountains

Every mountain possesses a face uniquely its own—some gentle and welcoming, others fierce and formidable; some generous and openhearted, others solitary and remote. Much like humans, mountains hold their own moods. Whenever I look up or gaze down from their summits, it becomes an earnest dialogue with the mountain, time and time again.

The mountains of Taiwan possess an indescribable pull for me. Each encounter feels like a call echoing from the depths of my soul—perhaps because they bear my profound love for nature and a longing for the pure beauty of life. I take joy in contemplating their forms and contours, admiring the grace found in their varied stances. Within their vast, unfathomable presence, I wander freely—with my feet, my eyes, and my heart—capturing these impressions through my lens to treasure for a lifetime.
