100 Peaks

Taiwan 100 Peaks is a list of 100 iconic mountains selected in the 1970s by Lin Wen-an, together with three fellow climbers known as the "Four Giants of Taiwanese Mountaineering," who personally explored the island's high ranges before compiling the list. Most peaks rise above 3,000 meters and span the Central Mountain ranges, Xueshan ranges, and Yushan ranges, selected for both their elevation and distinctive character — together forming Taiwan's most iconic high-mountain lineage.

This series represents a personal record of my observations and encounters, documented over more than a decade as I completed the summit of all 100 Peaks of Taiwan. This project will continue to evolve with future expeditions, bringing forth ever more compelling images.
