All photographs on this site are copyrighted by the photographer and protected under copyright law. Every license granted here is a usage right, not a transfer of copyright ownership. Any use not explicitly listed on this page requires separate written authorization, including but not limited to:

• Resale or sublicensing to third parties

• Listing on stock photography platforms (e.g. Getty Images, iStock, Shutterstock)

• Use as training data for AI/generative models

• Incorporating the photograph itself (or a cropped/altered version) into a company's registered trademark or logo design, such that the image becomes part of the trademark itself

License Types

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all license types below apply worldwide (no territorial restriction). To limit the territory or request a region-exclusive license, note this at time of request; pricing is quoted separately.​

• Single-Use License
  The image may be used only for the single, specific purpose and placement stated at time of request (e.g. one web article, one presentation). The right of use expires once that use is complete, and the file must be deleted by the licensee. Reuse or repurposing is not permitted.

• Project License
  Grants unlimited use of the image within the specific project, campaign, or time window stated at request. Use beyond the stated period or project scope requires a new license.

​​

• Perpetual License
  Unlimited use with no restriction on frequency or duration. This license is non-exclusive — the photographer retains the right to license the same image to other clients.

Notes

1. Files are delivered as JPEG only, dimensions in pixels, all at 300dpi resolution.

2. For non-standard aspect ratios (16:9, 2:1, 2.5:1), dimensions are calculated using the short edge (e.g. a 2:1 Small image is 1366×683).

3. Prices are per image. Bulk or budget-constrained requests can be discussed.

• Magazine, book, album, corporate and brand publication covers and interior pages

• Catalogs, flyers, DMs.

• Posters, postcards, desk calendars, wall calendars, daily calendars

• Product packaging, apparel, home decor, and other commercialized uses

Advertising and marketing​

• Print ads, digital ads, marketing campaign materials

• Outdoor billboards, large-scale displays

Film and television

• Films, documentaries, promotional videos, online videos

Art and exhibitions

• Artistic, industrial/commercial design, architectural, and interior design creative materials

• Fine art printing

• Displays for museums, art galleries, exhibition spaces, homes, and other environments

Scope & Restrictions​

1. Unauthorized use, or use beyond the licensed scope, is strictly prohibited and will be pursued through legal action if discovered.

2. Free licensing is not offered, except for the promotion of Taiwan's mountains (e.g. education or non-profit mountaineering advocacy).

3. Artists and designers wishing to reference, trace, or create derivative works based on an image must also apply for a license.

4. Portfolio images clearly showing an identifiable person's face are not licensed without that individual's consent, due to portrait/personality rights.

5. Standard licenses do not include: resale or sublicensing to a third party; listing on stock photography platforms; use as AI training data; incorporating the photograph itself into a trademark or logo design.

Application Process

2. We will contact you to confirm which photo(s), size, license type, and payment method you need, along with a quote.

3. A small watermarked preview will be provided for confirmation.

4. Pay the licensing fee via Wise or Paypal.

5. Upon payment confirmation, licensed files shall be delivered via cloud storage. No refunds after file delivery.
