Mt. Dashuiku is located in the southern section of Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range within Yushan National Park and serves as an important summit along the Southern Section Two traverse route. The mountain is characterized by broad ridgelines, alpine grasslands, and gentle slopes, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding rugged peaks. Its name originates from nearby Dashuiku Lake, a natural alpine water body that reflects the close relationship between high-mountain hydrology and landscape evolution in Taiwan.
